For killing off that patch of grass in your garden with the cardboard....In the fall, try again, but this time lay the cardboard down and then about 4 inches of compost/dirt and then some mulch of some sort. In the spring you will just need to move the mulch to the side where you want to plant. Also, with as much land as you have you could use the grass clippings from mowing in your garden as mulch to keep the weeds at bay.

For me, it was the Horatio Hornblower novels. I picked up the first one thinking it had to be some sort of comic novel or a satire. Forester's "cross-grained" nineteenth century Royal Navy officer was a tonic to my adolescent soul. Despite the commonalities of naval context and historical period, I suspect more differences than likenesses between the two series. Plainly, no one could write two more different characters than Horatio Hornblower and Mary "Jacky" Faber. I offer you an exercise in pointless pattern recognition. (Yes, my mind really does work this way.) Eberhard _Faber_ was a maker of yellow classroom pencils. Jackie _Paper_ was the friend and sailing companion of Puff the Magic Dragon. From the song -- " _Pirate_ _ships_ would lower their flags when Puff roared out his name". And Puff lived "... in a land called _Honah_ _Lee._ "

Mine is I’m amazing with maps and directions. I’ve moved 60+ times so I had to fine tune that innate talent. I moved to yet another new city three weeks ago and can already find my way around walking, driving, and using public transportation.

I live in the woods too! Over a mile off the main road. There’s no place else I’d rather be. We could be outhouse buddies lmao 😂 we don’t use ours anymore but in my state, if you tear it down you can’t build a new one. It’s so old, I’m gonna have to rebuild the walls 😅

You should probably be using loctite on all your bolts and nuts on a bike. That's what I use on mine . It prevents from the bolts and nuts coming loose.
